Ginny is the youngest of the Weasley’s, She is one of the first girls in the Weasley Family for generations.
Ginny is almost always under estimated by her brothers and often proves them to be quite the opposite of what they expect. She is a powerful witch.
We first meet Ginny in The Philosopher’s Stone at Platform 9 and ¾’s. She wishes Harry & her brother’s good luck and wishes that she too could go to Hogwarts, there and then.
The next time we meet Ginny she seems shy and reclusive. Ron even says that this is extremely weird behavior for Ginny who ‘Never shuts up’.
Ginny’s first year at Hogwarts was eventful to say the least. Ginny was sorted into Gryffindor not surprisingly as most of her family was in that house. Ginny was regularly possessed by Tom Riddle via a Diary. She opened The Chamber Of Secrets, Forced to do it of course. Tom then forced her to become a ‘sacrifice’ of sorts, so he would no longer be a memory but alive. Harry came to the rescue and destroyed the diary that Riddle relied on to keep his memory alive. The diary was none other than a Horcrux but of course Harry didn’t know that at the time.
Ginny is known to have the notorious Weasley Temper, show this quite a few times such as when she “Accidently” Forgot to break before hiting the commentator’s box at a Qudditch match. Ginny made up a lovely nickname for Fleur Delacour, who was engaged to her brother Bill And repeatedly called her this behind her back. Molly can sometimes be a little overprotective of Ginny and she would not let her take part in the final battle.
Ginny is known to have caught quite a few boys eyes. Pansy Parkinson is even a tad bit jealous of her. Ginny Always had a crush on Harry but took Hermione’s advice to move on and be a bit more herself. She dated Michael Corner But this was short lived when he got Jealous when Gryffindor beat Ravenclaw at Qudditch. Ginny in her fifth year then continued on to date Dean Thomas but at around about the same time she was begin to catch Harry’s eye and he was extremely Jealous of Dean. Ginny and Dean then broke up and Harry wanted to make his move but he felt torn as Ginny was his best friend’s sister. When Gryffindor won the Qudditch
Cup, Harry was over joyed and though he was likely only intending to hug Ginny it turned into a Kiss and things went smoothly as Ron didn’t really have a big problem with Harry dating Ginny.
When Dumbledore died Harry had to go off to find the other Horcruxes and Harry being his noble self decided that he was putting Ginny in danger being with her as Voldemort would probably want to hurt anybody Harry loved. It was clear Ginny was upset be this but she tried to carry on knowing that Harry might died on his quest for the Horcruxes.
Ginny’s Sixth Year was not very good seeing as Death Eaters and Severus Snape all were employees of Hogwarts. Ginny, Luna and Nevile all tried their best to reform The DA but failed.
Ginny was not supposed to take part in the final battle but Ginny’s determined nature could not be controlled and she ran off. When Harry was believed to be dead Ginny missed Bellatrix Lestrange’s Killing Curse by inches. This set Molly Weasley off, Molly who had already lost a son in this battle did not want to lose her daughter too. Thus a battle began that led to Bellatrix’s death.
Later in life Ginny Married Harry and had 3 children, James Sirius, Albus Severus, and Lily Luna. Ginny went on to play Quidditch professionally for the Holyhead Harpies, later retiring and settling down as a Quidditch senior editor for the Daily Prophet.
